Monday, November 16 2009 |
Elton John is on the mend after battling an E. coli bacterial infection and the flu.
Although he was forced to cancel his gig with Billy Joel in California on November 14, 2009after being told by doctors it’s too soon for him to return to the stage, reps for Elton insist he is “feeling much better” and has “recovered”.
Elton’s rep also confirmed he will definitely be at his Elton John AIDS Foundation’s “An Enduring Vision” event — which will be hosted by Anderson Cooper, and where Bill Clinton and Sharon Stone are set to be honored — in New York on November 16, 2009.
“It’s an annual event and Elton never misses it,” a source added. “He has been resting at home and is due to fly to New York today [November 15, 2009].”
