Always hard to lose a parent. Hope he was able to patch things up with her before she went.

I feared for this, and exactly hoped that Sheila could've been able to see her Zachary and Elijah before it was too late.

Thanks for posting this very sad news.

I really do hope that Elton and his Mom were able to patch things up as it appeared that things had been rocky at times over recent years.

Rest in Peace Sheila.

I read where they did reconcile---'John, 70, announced on Motherís Day that he and his mother settled their feud after he fell ill with a deadly bacterial infection while touring through South America. He canceled several concerts to recover.' Glad to hear that. RIP Sheila.

Songs are lightning
When they strike you
You hang on every line
Theyíre bits of history
Donít try to change Ďem
Itís how youíre feeling at the time
