On a recent shopping trip to Australia, Elton John lashed out and brought himself a tram! He snatched up the tram for what he says was a steal and shipped it back to the UK. It now sits in his backyard and his partner uses it for an office.

During a court case in July 2001, Elton John revealed how he spent nearly $26 million in a 20-month period, including $195,300 on flowers.

He always has fresh flowers wherever he goes. In his home, hotel room, everywhere.

Yes and we can hear about that in Tantrums and Tiaras. 'I send you flowers wherever I am' he says.

I'm sure he wrote a song called 'Flowers Will Never Die' in the Sixties with Bernie.

A tram for an office? That can be funny actually. I 'd like to see how it is. I thought it was only possible to read these kind of things in comics. A tram as an office. That's cool. smile.gif

QUOTE (Rocket Man @ October 21, 2004 10:40 pm)
I'm sure he wrote a song called 'Flowers Will Never Die' in the Sixties with Bernie.

Yes, he wrote it at home on 7th January 1969, the same day he wrote Empty Sky.
