The Munich group is taking a break in the shadow on their way to Stuttgart. It's 40 degrees Celsius (over 100 Fahrenheit)! Far too hot for a drive ...

Finally in Stuttgart we meet up with other fans ...

... while Turkey is celebrating their win over Senegal in the Soccer World Cup.

More fans arriving ... time for a snack!

But the only place we find close to the venue is this ... PANZAS!

The place was as strange as it looks on the picture ...

... as was the publican ...

... and the food. Hmmm, yummy!

But not quite as tasty as Elton's sweat suit later in the show.

After the show: While thousands of cars are lining up to get on the motor-way ...

... the sophisticated Elton fan is prepared to party ...

... until it's finally time to leave for a 2 hours drive back to Munich.

The day after ... sleeping with the pest.

10 am, time for breakfast on the patio - at 25 degrees Celsius (80 Fahrenheit).

Elton fans waking up ... unassisted ...

... or with the help of a gulp of coffee!

Finally awake it's time to rehearse for encores: Pinball Wizards training camp.

Captain Fantastic ... and the brown dirt cowboys.

More rehearsals: heating up to concert mood!

But before the show it's time for some typical Bavarian food ...

... which can be tricky to eat.

Thank God, drinking is a lot easier ...

... and there never is a beer shortage in Munich!

But too much beer in the sun makes an impact ...

... so don't try to look intellectual.

"Hi, mother, I'm fine ... yeah, I am doing my homework as we speak!"

Still some time to kill until the show ...

In the underground station ... look for the poster in the background, it says "El Dorado" and "Zug hält nicht" (German for "Train doesn't stop").
